Continue Memorizing all Prepositions, Pronouns and Helping Verbs
Complete paragraph on London following these steps:
--do your own key word outline from paragraph in book. Choose 5 important/interesting facts and use 3 key words per line (remember the 'freebies')
--brainstorm strong verbs, quality -ly words, quality adjectives
--write a rough draft including at least one strong verb, one quality -ly word, one quality adjectives and one -ly sentence opener
--type final draft following checklist requirements
--have someone edit before printing (have them sign the printed copy!)
--underline all required decorations and openers and mark in margin
--staple or paper clip together: final copy, rough draft, key word outline and checklist
--give yourself a pat on the back for completing your assignment!!!
Parents: I will be sending out progress reports this week. Your student will have 2 weeks to turn in any missing assignments. I will not be accepting late assignments after the end of the nine weeks unless the parent discusses the situation with me before the end of the nine weeks.
